Registered Dietitians are trained health professionals that help people of all ages and backgrounds achieve their personal health and wellness goals.
Let’s face it – there are a lot of nutrition-based businesses out there – but by selecting grounded as your nutrition resource partner, and purchasing one of our services, you are helping to improve your overall health + wellness, and inspiring change in our community. All of the funds raised by grounded support the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation and help to provide complementary Cancer Coaching to families in our community. THANK YOU!
No, a referral from a doctor is not required to see a Registered Dietitian – but it is best to first check with your insurance provider to ensure they do not require a referral.
The services of a registered dietitian are covered by most Extended Health Benefit Plans. Please note: the coverage for insurance differs from company to company – so you are best to check with your employer or insurance company to see what type of services are covered under your plan. We do not do direct billing to insurance companies –but do provide you with a receipt of services which you are able to submit to your provider.
If your insurance plan does not cover the services of a registered dietitian, you may choose to submit your receipts for a tax credit at the end of the year.
The preferred payment for grounded services is credit card through our online platform. Payment may also be made in person at 1500 Alta Vista Drive or via cheque.
All of the grounded nutrition Coaching programs and services are open to the general public and tailored to each person’s individual needs and goals.
