Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey

¼ cup red onion, minced

½ small red pepper, minced

⅓ cup rolled oats

1 egg

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1-2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Optional Toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado slices, tzatziki, cheddar cheese

 

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Form into 6 medium patties or 12 smaller patties. Place onto skillet over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, until lightly browned and fully cooked through.
  3. Serve on whole grain buns or in lettuce wraps.
